Who We Are

Beth Schweitzer has been involved with dogs for almost thirty years. Her love affair with the  Labrador Retriever began with the arrival of her first Lab, Schweitzer's Apple Cider, CDX, WC in 1991. "Maisy" was a terrific obedience dog and earned her first title, CD at 13 months of age.

Beth went on to breed Maisy to Can CH Rockycreek's Beacon. This breeding produced  Hopbrook's first champion, AM CH HopBrook's Buffalo Bill Cody.

After putting numerous obedience titles on her dogs, Beth was smitten by the breed ring. In the 17 years that she has owned and bred Labrador retrievers, she has produced obedience champions, breed champions and numerous specialty winners, sweepstakes winners and specialty placing dogs.

Her husband, Lawrence, shares Beth's love for her dogs. Lawrence keeps the kennel up and running and babysits for the dogs when Beth is away.
